Are you interested in a fun, low pressure class that lets you bond with your dog and improve your training skills? Tricks are great foundations for valuable life skills and an excellent way to strengthen your relationship with your furry friend. Come and learn how to teach a trick you’ve always wanted to try or build a title routine from the ground up—all ages and skill levels are welcome in this class.
Our trainer is a Do More With Your Dog!-certified Trick Dog Instructor (CKC recognized) and is qualified to witness title performances. You could end your class with a new ribbon and title!
Dogs must be able to work around other dogs and cannot display any human or dog reactivity/aggression in order to attend Tricks classes.

Tricks Class
Tricks class requires some planning on the handler’s part as you will be asked to choose the tricks you want to teach. Don’t worry, you’ll have a long list to pick from and instructor guidance if desired!

Meet Your Instructor
Darcie
Darcie is the owner and lead trainer at Sundog CTEC. She has been training professionally for 8 years and competing in a wide variety of dog sports for almost 15.
Since 2010, she has trick-trained all of her dogs to the Elite Trick Dog title—one of her current Aussies, Dune, is her first Trick Dog Champion and knows over 100 tricks. Her favourite trick is the dog catch, where the dog jumps up into their handler’s arms!
