Basics

Set your dog up for success with practical training that builds everyday manners, useful life skills, and a strong foundation for future learning. Whether you’re raising a new puppy or teaching an adult dog the basics, these classes will help you communicate clearly, reinforce good choices, and teach the skills your dog needs to navigate daily life with confidence.

Through positive, structured training, you’ll work on foundational behaviours such as attention, settling, polite greetings, leash skills, recall, and responding around distractions. You’ll also develop the handling and training skills needed to continue making progress at home!

Puppy Kindergarten

Designed for dogs under 9 months old, this class helps you build a bond with your puppy while giving you the skills to raise a well-behaved dog. It is a fun class of constructive activities that teaches basic skills like: sit, down, stay, loose leash walking, recall, polite greetings, and more.

What to Bring
  • A number of small, easy-to-eat treats (like kibble, training treats, or small piecs of meat or cheese)
  • Collar/harness
  • 6-10 foot leash (no Flexi- or Extend-A-Leads)
  • Optional: Clicker

Mind Your Manners

A class for dogs of all ages that focuses on fundamental life skills and common problem behaviours! This class covers topics like how to be neutral around exciting triggers, polite greetings/not jumping up, leash skills, stays, “leave it”, recall, and more.
